On July 14, 2026, the Opening Concert featuring the lecturers will begin at 7:30 PM in the Stadtkirche. The Final Concert of the Academy participants will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM, which will once again be held this year in the recently renovated, beautiful Golden Hall of Ludwigslust Castle.

Renowned and multiple award-winning soloists and educators will lead the courses: Prof. Ralph van Dahl, oboe; Prof. Andreas Langenbuch, clarinet (Düsseldorf); Prof. Christian Kunert, bassoon (Hamburg); and Prof. Manuel Fischer-Dieskau, violoncello (Mainz).

Greetings from the Mayor of Ludwigslust:

Welcome to Ludwigslust and the International Music Academy. I particularly welcome all participating young musical talents. Ludwigslust is a city of short distances. I think not only the good conditions will convince you, but also the friendliness and proverbial warmth of Mecklenburgers will be an optimal environment for all contributors of the International Music Academy. We wish you happy making music and look forward to the concerts in our beautiful city church.

Stefan Pinnow, Mayor of Ludwigslust
